Web-crawler Homilies

I embark on these homilies because some search engines use crawlers to sniff out and validate a web-site's use of keywords. These persnickety agents compare the actual text on a page with the keywords attached to it, and if the page doesn't satisfy certain algorithms, well, then, they don't associate that page with those topics. Fiction doesn't fare well under such scrutiny. I can say that the story on the page concerns discrimination or social disorder or playground design, but those words may not appear anywhere in the story, hence no entry in the search engine under those topics. Therefore, I write this continuing series of short diatribes — if you will — I'm hoping you won't mind clicking on another link to get to the story, whether or not you actually read the homily.
