     I've just taken a can-feel with the tactician for a new anshin combine. Yes, I said "a new anshin combine." They submitted their proposal yesterday, the only ones so far to respond to our emergency, the emergency that has caused us to post Notices of Competition for so many combines, including mine, I'm ashamed to say, though it wasn't really our fault.
     I said "emergency." In case you hadn't noticed, we face an emergency like we've never seen in Ganj Dareh before, maybe an emergency like has never been seen on this planet before. And it's not as if we had any viable options before this new anshin combine came along.
     Byukan-Hamil — our dear, beloved Chief Heejanus — isn't doing the job. Look at our dead, our wounded, our shocked and shaken. Why hire them again?
     And her competition? Those foreigners? What's his name? Weir something? What kind of name is that? Oh, from what I understand, their little sample clinics are very nice. And their sample of people? They're nice, too. But they're light-weights!
     We need more than nice. We need strength.
     We need more than Nurses to fix us up. We need soldiers to keep us out of harm's way.
     We need more than the known, the comfortable, the way we've always been. We need something — someone — new, someone who can make a difference in this pathetic ruin our lives have become.
     Ges Lugar Sailie, tactician for Le Coeur de la Patrie — that's the new anshin combine I mentioned — anyway, he asked me to read over his proposal and if I liked it, to mention it to you, the Ganj-Dareh Collective.
     I did read it. I did like it. In fact, I have created a new klatsch to present the proposal and give us a chance to talk about it: "Evaluations of Anshin Competitor 'Le Coeur de la Patrie (Ges Lugar Sailie, Tactician)'" (cue/Em-Deh: §¶). Go look at it. Tell me what you think about this new anshin combine.
     If enough of you like it, we can dismiss the nonsense we're living with now. Terminate Byukan-Hamil. Forget about Annadetcall. And hire Le Coeur to protect our lives and our future.
