Sample Chapters
Like any editor, you — The Reader — are interested in the storytelling because, regardless of how good the synopsis makes the story sound, the proof of the writer lies in his actual words. If I can't get you to suspend your disbelief immediately and read on past those first few paragraphs and pages, then you won't buy the book — and convincing an editor about that holds the key to getting this book published.
So, let's make a deal. I make the first two chapters available to you (substantial chapters, to be sure, that introduce most of the major characters and the precipitating crisis), then if you want to read more, you buy the book from me, as a file download or (eventually) a print-on-demand hardcopy (get your name on that list now). If you agree, read on; if you don't, well, read on anyway ... I might just change your mind.
