As they say on their web-site, "The PIKES PEAK WRITERS CONFERENCE, held in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is a multi-genre commercial fiction event sponsored by the Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District, and enjoys the support of the Kennedy Center's Imagination Celebration. PPWC enjoys a reputation of professionalism, without sacrificing friendliness -- one reason many writers and publishing professionals return year after year." I've never attended, although good things have happened to other writers, such as, Carol Berg, at this conference.
